Acclaimed artist Mosharraf Karim has returned to Bangladesh following his pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia and is now actively engaged in shooting two new TV dramas under the direction of Sagar Jahan.
After a 10-day stay in Saudi Arabia with his wife Robena Reza Jui, Mosharraf flew back home on February 11. He wasted no time and began filming for the upcoming projects “Soda Shotto Bolibo” and “Adu Bhai” on February 15.
Expressing his joy at working with Sagar Jahan again, Mosharraf reminisced about past collaborations with the director. “It’s been a while since I worked with Sagar Jahan. Many old memories are flooding back. I find the work enjoyable. Seeing the director’s satisfaction during shooting is gratifying. Working with him is fulfilling,” he shared.
Written by Ashraful Chanchal, “Soda Shotto Bolibo” stars Aisha Khan alongside Mosharraf Karim. The drama is slated to be part of NTV’s Eid special lineup.
Describing the plot, Mosharraf highlighted the sincere love story of a straightforward man in the drama. “It’s a heartfelt love story. Aisha Khan is performing admirably as my co-actor. I always relish working on Sagar Jahan’s projects. This one is shaping up well too. Hopefully, viewers will appreciate the nostalgic essence,” he added.
Director Sagar Jahan confirmed that shooting for “Adu Bhai” is ongoing today and tomorrow. Aisha Khan will once again star opposite Mosharraf Karim in this drama. The script, penned by Arko Mostafa, promises a comedic storyline. The drama is set to be broadcast on a private television channel during Eid.
Mosharraf Karim has garnered praise over the years for his roles in various Sagar Jahan-directed productions, including popular series such as “Sikandar Box,” “Average Aslam,” “Mahin,” “Tal Mischiri Na Hawai Mithai,” “Fatman,” and “Kobul Bolilo Ke.” He has also featured in standalone dramas like “Ekti Adorsho Biddaloy,” “Mon Dorja,” “Sheshta Amar Chhilo,” among others.
