In the Gabtoli-Shajahanpur constituency of Bogura-7, Morshed Milton, supported by the BNP, secured a resounding victory in the 13th parliamentary election with 158,196 votes, as per unofficial reports. Jamaat’s Md Golam Rabbani emerged as the closest competitor with 45,156 votes. Md Hafizur Rahman, the assistant returning officer (UNO Gabtoli), disclosed this information. Shafiqul Islam, the candidate from Islami Andolan Bangladesh, received 1,028 votes, while Ansar Ali, representing the Bangladesh Muslim League with the lantern symbol, garnered 270 votes. A total of 204,650 valid votes were cast across 98 polling centers in the constituency.
