English actor Jonathan Bailey, known for his roles in “Bridgerton” and the blockbuster “Wicked,” has been crowned this year’s “sexiest man alive” by People magazine. The 37-year-old actor expressed his gratitude for the recognition, previously bestowed upon notable figures like Chris Hemsworth and George Clooney.
In an interview with People magazine, Bailey humorously shared his astonishment at the honor, admitting that he only shared the news with his dog, Benson. The announcement of Bailey’s title was made on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Bailey, who portrayed Prince Fiyero in “Wicked” and is set to reprise the role in the upcoming sequel “Wicked: For Good,” also appeared in the summer release “Jurassic World: Rebirth.” Notably, actor John Krasinski was named “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2024, joining a prestigious list that includes Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Idris Elba, and Channing Tatum as past recipients of the title.
