Jamaat-e-Islami leader Shafiqur Rahman emphasized Bangladesh’s independence and sovereignty, asserting that the country will not be dictated by others. Speaking at a gathering in Mirpur’s Pirerbagh, he stated that Bangladesh will not bow down to any authority and will progress with dignity and self-reliance. Shafiqur, a candidate in the upcoming election from Dhaka-15 constituency, outlined the party’s foreign policy principles of fostering friendships and equality while avoiding hostility.
Highlighting the party’s commitment to establishing a just and corruption-free society, Shafiqur underscored the importance of nurturing a confident and self-sufficient youth population willing to collaborate with the government voluntarily. He urged the public to support Jamaat candidates nationwide for a peaceful and prosperous society.
Emphasizing the party’s dedication to translating words into actions, Shafiqur criticized politicians who make grand promises before elections but fail to deliver afterward. He urged voters to be discerning and focus on the actual achievements rather than empty rhetoric.

He called for a new approach focused on positive strategies and their effective implementation to propel the nation forward. Encouraging the youth to remain steadfast, he urged them to ensure the victory of the party symbol in the upcoming election to build a just and principled society.
