Greek authorities reported that Dana Eden, a 52-year-old Israeli producer behind the successful spy series “Tehran,” was discovered deceased in a hotel room in Athens. The investigation into the incident is ongoing following concerns raised by a relative who couldn’t reach her. Based on available evidence and witness accounts, the police are treating the case as a suicide.
During the examination of the scene, Greek investigators found pills and noted bruises on the victim’s neck. Donna and Shula Productions, the international production company associated with the show, expressed deep sadness over the loss and debunked speculations of criminal or nationalistic motives in a released statement. They urged against spreading unverified information.
According to reports from Israeli media outlet Kan, Eden was in Greece at the time filming the fourth season of “Tehran.” The tragedy has left family, friends, and colleagues in mourning.
