Israeli forces conducted operations in southern Lebanon on Monday, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including a child, as reported by Lebanon’s National News Agency citing the health ministry. The strikes were aimed at members of the Shia Muslim armed group Hezbollah, according to the Israeli military.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces detained an official from Jama’a Islamiya, a Lebanese Sunni Islamist group, in a raid confirmed by the group and Hezbollah. The Israeli military labeled him a “senior terrorist” and transferred him to Israel for interrogation.
Since the 2024 war with Hezbollah, Israel has been carrying out regular strikes in Lebanon, claiming the lives of approximately 400 individuals following a ceasefire, as per Lebanese security sources.
Reports indicated that three individuals, including a three-year-old child, were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Yanouh village, according to NNA and the health ministry.
The Israeli military stated that it targeted and killed a Hezbollah member in a strike in Yanouh, identifying him as the head of Hezbollah’s artillery in the region, attributing to him numerous attacks on Israel during the conflict.
