A move is in progress to issue an Interpol notice against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and ex-Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, who are fugitives facing a death sentence in a case related to crimes against humanity. This update has been verified by authorities at the Police Headquarters. The initiation of this process comes after the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) convicted Hasina and Kamal to death for their involvement in ordering a suppression of the student-led July uprising.
