“Former BNP Member Gets NCP Nomination for Sirajganj-5”

A former BNP member has received the National Citizen Party (NCP) nomination for the Sirajganj-5 (Belkuchi-Chauhali) constituency. The NCP unveiled four candidates for Sirajganj today, with Maj (retd) Monjur Kader, a former state minister, securing the nomination for Sirajganj-5. Additionally, Dilshan Ara Parul, Duti Aronno Chowdhury, and SM Sayeed Mostafiz were nominated for Sirajganj-3, Sirajganj-4, and Sirajganj-6, respectively. The NCP is yet to announce candidates for the Sirajganj-1 and Sirajganj-2 constituencies. Monjur Kader had previously won the Sirajganj-5 seat in the 2001 national election as a BNP candidate.
