“Dhaka Bank PLC Expands Payment Options for DSCC Taxes”

-

Dhaka Bank PLC inaugurated a new collection booth at its zonal office in Dhaka for residents and business owners under the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) to pay holding tax and trade licence fees. The booth was jointly opened by Sheikh Abdul Bakir, Deputy Managing Director of Dhaka Bank PLC, and Akther Unnisa Shiuly, Zonal Executive Officer of Zones 8-10 under DSCC, as per a press release.

Residents and business owners falling under DSCC Zones 6-10 can now make their holding tax and trade licence fee payments in person at the recently established booth. Moreover, Dhaka Bank branches facilitate real-time payments of holding taxes and fees for DSCC.

Since January 2025, Dhaka Bank has allowed DSCC residents to conveniently make tax and fee payments online in real time through the Dhaka Bank mobile app and internet banking. Earlier this year, on July 2, the bank had introduced its first collection booth for DSCC holding tax and trade licence fees at Nagar Bhaban.
