“Dengue Outbreak: 6 Deaths, 1,195 Admissions in 24 Hours”

At least six individuals have succumbed to dengue in the past 24 hours, with 1,195 others being admitted to hospitals by 8:00 am today. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported that two fatalities each occurred in Dhaka South City Corporation, Dhaka North City Corporation, and Barishal division. These recent deaths have brought the total dengue-related fatalities to 313, while the total number of cases has reached 78,543.

Presently, 3,337 patients are receiving treatment in various hospitals nationwide, with 2,187 patients hailing from regions outside of Dhaka.
