Adeline Beauty Technology (Bangladesh) Co Ltd, a Chinese firm, is set to invest $22 million in establishing a manufacturing facility for fashion and beauty products within the Bepza Economic Zone located in Mirsharai, Chattogram. This move is anticipated to generate job opportunities for around 4,170 Bangladeshi citizens.
The company’s production line will focus on a variety of fashion hair and beauty items, such as wigs, eyelashes, and cosmetic nails, with a primary aim of exporting these products to prominent global markets like the USA, Canada, the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the UAE, Russia, and Mexico, among others.
In a recent development, Md Tanvir Hossain, the executive director for investment promotion at the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (Bepza), and Hang Sun, the managing director of Adeline Beauty Technology (Bangladesh) Co Ltd, finalized a land lease agreement at the Bepza Complex in Dhaka. The signing ceremony was attended by Major General Mohammad Moazzem Hossain, the executive chairman of Bepza.
During the event, the Bepza executive chairman reiterated the organization’s dedication to offering a safe, compliant, and conducive environment for investors. He also advocated for increased Chinese investments in various sectors that add value to the economy.
