Barishal Division Clinches Victory in Women’s National Cricket League

Barishal Division emerged victorious in the 14th Women’s National Cricket League 2025-26 by defeating Rangpur Division by 13 runs in their final league match held at BKSP-3 yesterday. Barishal showcased their dominance throughout the tournament, winning six out of seven matches, with Khulna Division securing the runners-up position with 10 points. Rabeya Khan, the captain of Barishal, was honored as the player of the league for her exceptional all-around performance, scoring 179 runs and taking nine wickets. Shamima Sultana from Sylhet Division led the run-scoring chart with 275 runs, while Sultana Khatun from Barishal and Fatema Jahan Sonia from Chattogram tied as the top wicket-takers, both claiming 14 wickets each. Juairiya Ferdous Joyeeta from Rangpur was recognized as the Best Promising Player of the tournament.
