The event will showcase performances by renowned artists including Rahul Ananda from Joler Gaan, Nadim Wahid known for “Sonapakhi”, and Shraboni Mutsuddi at Casa Do Bangladesh in Lisbon’s Mercado da Culturas Hall.

Roni Hossain, President of Casa Do Bangladesh, disclosed these details during a press conference on December 14 at Didaj Restaurant in Lisbon, attended by the organization’s advisors M A Hakim Minhaj and Masum Ahmed, Secretary Shahid Ahmed (Prince), Iqbal Ahmed Kanchan, Hafiz Al Asad, Shahin Ahmed, and other key members.

Hossain mentioned that this year’s event will differ from the previous year’s open-field celebration due to current circumstances, aiming to convey the essence of the Great Liberation War, the historic victory, and Bangladesh’s rich culture to the younger diaspora generation through a day-long program at Mercado da Culturas Hall.

The program will include discussions on the significance of the Great Victory Day, special performances by youth, stalls showcasing Bangladeshi culture, a diverse cultural program, and a gathering of expatriate Bangladeshis.
