Bangladesh Targets Victory Against Chinese Taipei in AFC Qualifiers

-

Bangladesh is set to target advancing to the final stage by securing a victory in their upcoming match against Chinese Taipei in the AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers. The crucial Group H encounter will take place at Aqaba Stadium in Jordan, with kick-off scheduled for 10 pm (Bangladesh time).

After drawing 1-1 in their first match against host nation Jordan and witnessing Chinese Taipei’s dominant 6-1 win over the same opponents, Saiful Bari Titu’s team faces a tough test against a formidable opponent that has previously made it to the final stage on four occasions.

Coach Titu emphasized the importance of playing with confidence and aiming for a victory, highlighting that winning is the only acceptable outcome. He expressed optimism about his team’s capabilities, noting that the approach would have been the same even if they had won against Jordan.

In order to secure a spot in the final stage for the third time, Bangladesh will need to deliver a more solid and composed performance compared to their previous match against Jordan. The team must maintain high energy levels throughout the game and display discipline in containing Chinese Taipei’s attacking threats, particularly Chang Hu-Hsin, who netted a hat-trick in their previous match.
