“Bangladesh Bank Director Inaugurates Annual Risk Conference 2025”

Citizens Bank PLC recently hosted the “Annual Risk Conference 2025” at their headquarters in Dhaka. ANM Moinul Kabir, the director of the Department of Off-site Supervision at Bangladesh Bank, inaugurated the conference as the chief guest. He provided insightful guidelines on risk factors within the banking industry.

The bank’s Managing Director, Alamgir Hossain, gave a keynote speech during the conference, discussing various aspects of risk in banking operations and emphasizing strategies to mitigate risks within the current macroeconomic landscape. Deputy Managing Directors Md Mostafizur Rahman and Md Abdul Latif, as well as Chief Financial Officer Mohammad Saiful Islam, were also in attendance.

The session was led by MM Apurba Abrar, a deputy director at the Department of Off-site Supervision at Bangladesh Bank. Chief Risk Officer Md Israil Hossain, along with senior executives, heads of divisions, and branch representatives from the bank, participated in the event.
