They aim to promote knowledge exchange, arrange trade exhibitions in both countries, facilitate business delegations, and endorse Bangladeshi apparel and textile products in Canada and North America.
Furthermore, the two organizations will work together to enhance the skills and expertise of entrepreneurs and professionals through training, knowledge sharing, and skills development. They also plan to create investment prospects in the apparel, textile, and associated sectors in Bangladesh and Canada.
In addition to encouraging partnerships, joint ventures, and collaboration among members, BGMEA and BBCC will share information, policies, and research concerning global market trends to benefit their members as per the terms of the agreement.
The MoU was sealed by BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan and BBCC President Alamgir M Rahman at the BGMEA headquarters in Dhaka. President Khan expressed his optimism about the agreement, stating, “This MoU with BBCC will allow us to leverage the potential of the Canadian and North American markets.
