“Bachelor Point” Season 5 Welcomes Orchita Sporshia

The production of Kajal Arefin Ome’s series “Bachelor Point” Season 5 is progressing smoothly. Nehal has returned to the shared apartment of Kabila, Habu, and Pasha, now joined by Zakir. Orchita Sporshia is the new addition to the cast this season, portraying a fresh character.

The director teased viewers with hints about Sporshia’s character through a recent Facebook post, concealing her face. The mystery was unveiled on Thursday evening when the director unveiled a poster, officially introducing Sporshia as the newest member of “Bachelor Point.”

In a statement to the press, Sporshia expressed her excitement about transitioning from serious roles to more lighthearted and comedic content, aiming to engage a broader audience. She eagerly accepted the opportunity to join the esteemed “Bachelor Point” team, recognizing the show’s widespread popularity.

Sharing her enthusiasm for collaborating with Kajal Arefin Ome for the first time, Sporshia praised the director’s talent and expressed optimism about creating compelling content together, leaving the ultimate judgment to the viewers.

Kajal Arefin highlighted the series’ history of predominantly featuring male characters and acknowledged the positive reception of female characters in previous seasons. To align with the storyline’s evolution, the decision was made to introduce a fresh character in Season Five, leading to the selection of Sporshia for the role.

The ensemble cast of “Bachelor Point” includes Marzuk Russell, Ziaul Hoque Polash, Chashi Alam, Mishu Sabbir, Tousif Mahbub, Shamima Nazneen, Erfan Mridha Shiblu, Pavel, Abdullah Rana, Monira Mithu, and others. The series is currently available for streaming on the Bongo OTT platform, with upcoming broadcasts scheduled on Channel i and Boom Films’ YouTube channel.
