“Arijit Singh Returns to Studio for Aamir Khan Film”

-

Just a few days after revealing his decision to take a break from playback singing, Arijit Singh has made a brief return to the recording studio to provide vocals for an upcoming movie called “Ek Din,” produced by Aamir Khan.

Aamir Khan Productions recently posted a picture on their official Instagram page of Aamir Khan with the singer, expressing gratitude to Arijit for his involvement in the film. The caption read, “Thank you, Arijit, for infusing so much emotion into the music of ‘Ek Din’.” In addition, a personal message from Aamir Khan in the post conveyed his appreciation, saying, “Thank you, Arijit, for contributing your voice to our movie ‘Ek Din’. The time spent with you, your family, and your team over four days was enchanting. Love, A.”

The film “Ek Din,” directed by Sunil Pandey, features Junaid Khan alongside Sai Pallavi and is set to hit theaters in May.

Arijit Singh had announced his retirement from playback singing on January 27, specifying that he would focus on creating independent music instead. He also performed at Kolkata’s Netaji Indoor Stadium last Sunday alongside sitar virtuoso Anoushka Shankar and percussionist Bickram Ghosh.
