Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC has unveiled a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) booth at the 12th National SME Product Fair held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center in Agargaon, Dhaka.
Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan, the acting managing director of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, inaugurated the SME booth as the guest of honor on Sunday, as per an official statement.
During the inauguration ceremony, Khan emphasized the significant role of the SME sector in bolstering the capabilities of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the nation.
He stated, “Al-Arafah Islami Bank is dedicated to offering financing, training, and mentorship to entrepreneurs through financial inclusion.”
Khan further emphasized the bank’s commitment to delivering convenient, innovative, and Shariah-compliant banking services tailored to SME entrepreneurs.
Attendees at the fair can access immediate information, advice, and support from the booth regarding the bank’s Shariah-compliant investment options, SME funding, assistance for women entrepreneurs, digital banking solutions, and a range of other services.
Among the key figures present at the event were SM Abu Jafar, the bank’s deputy managing director; Jalal Ahmed, the executive vice-president; Solaiman Al Raji and Monirul Islam, both senior vice-presidents; and Sheikh Asadul Haque, the senior assistant vice-president, alongside other senior officials.
