“Afghanistan U-19 Cricket Team Arrives in Bangladesh Early for Youth ODI Series”

-

The Afghanistan U-19 team arrived in Bogura on Tuesday in preparation for their upcoming five-match Youth ODI series against Bangladesh, set to commence on October 28. The team touched down at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the early hours of the morning before embarking on a three-and-a-half-hour journey by road to Bogura, where the first two matches are scheduled to be held.

Reports indicate that the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) had requested an extended period from their counterparts in Bangladesh to allow the team to acclimatize to the conditions and engage in additional practice sessions, prompting their early arrival a week ahead of the series start.

The initial two one-day matches are slated to be played at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium on October 28 and 31, respectively, following which the teams will relocate to Rajshahi for the remaining three fixtures. The Rajshahi Divisional Stadium will host the remaining matches on November 3, 6, and 9.
