AB Bank PLC recently launched a specialized collection booth at Mirpur BCIC College in Dhaka to provide modern banking services for the college students and staff. The inauguration of the booth was jointly conducted by Syed Mizanur Rahman, the managing director and CEO of AB Bank PLC, and Colonel Md Tauhidul Islam, the principal of Mirpur BCIC College. This booth, operating under the bank’s Mirpur Branch, will handle all financial collections for the college and offer payroll services to its employees.
The establishment of this booth reflects AB Bank’s commitment to enhancing collaborations with educational institutions and promoting digital banking solutions throughout Bangladesh. The initiative aims to make banking more accessible to the college community. The event was attended by Md Zakir Hossain Talukder, the vice-principal of Mirpur BCIC College; Taufiq Hassan, the head of the retail banking division at AB Bank; Feeda Hasan Shahed, responsible for payroll and school banking; and Md Arifuzzaman, the manager of Mirpur Branch, in addition to other senior officials from both organizations.
