Maasranga Television has unveiled a special Eid program schedule, showcasing the world television premieres of two highly praised Bangladeshi films — “Utshob” and “Kajolrekha”.

“Utshob”, the top-grossing film from last year, will be aired by Maasranga Television on Eid day at 2:20 pm. Directed by Tanim Noor, the film features a star-studded cast including Zahid Hasan, Jaya Ahsan, Aupee Karim, Chanchal Chowdhury, Afsana Mimi, Tariq Anam Khan, Azad Abul Kalam, Intekhab Dinar, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Soumya Jyoti, and Sadia Ayman. Released during the previous Eid-ul-Adha, “Utshob” has maintained a successful run in theaters ever since its debut.

On the 3rd day of Eid, also at 2:20 pm, Maasranga TV will present the world TV premiere of “Kajolrekha”, directed by Gias Uddin Selim. Released during Eid-ul-Fitr 2024, the film stars Shariful Razz, Mondira Chakraborty, Sadia Ayman, Rafiath Rashid Mithila, Iresh Zaker, and Khairul Basar. Drawing inspiration from the 400-year-old Bengali folk tale Mymensingh Gitika, “Kajolrekha” was showcased at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in the Netherlands and has been added to the curriculum of the history department at the University of Dhaka for its cultural and historical importance.
