Popular actor Zahid Hasan is set to star in the upcoming Eid release “Domm,” directed by Redoan Rony. While there has been no official confirmation from the production team or the actor, multiple sources have verified Zahid’s involvement in a guest role for the film.
Zahid Hasan made a successful comeback last year in the film “Utshob,” helmed by Tanim Noor. The movie was a box office hit, with Hasan’s portrayal of Jahangir receiving acclaim from both viewers and critics.
“Domm” is based on a true story and falls under the survival genre. A significant portion of the movie was filmed in Kazakhstan, with additional scenes shot in Bangladesh. The ensemble cast features Afran Nisho, Chanchal Chowdhury, Puja Chery, and Dolly Zahur in pivotal roles.
The film is a collaboration between SVF Alpha i Entertainment and Chorki, marking Redoan Rony’s third directorial venture. Rony, who previously won a National Film Award for his debut film “Chorabali” followed by “Ice Cream,” makes a comeback to the silver screen after a ten-year hiatus with “Domm.”
“Domm” is scheduled for release this Eid.
