Vocalist Mainul Ahsan Noble was apprehended today in Narayanganj on charges of unlawfully restraining a young woman and coercing her to produce explicit images and videos, as per law enforcement officials.
Noble was apprehended at approximately 12:30 pm on February 23 in the Bottola area under Siddirganj Police Station, revealed Demra Police. The arrest was made based on a tip-off received by the police.
The incident originates from a report filed on August 13, 2025, where the woman accused Noble of enticing her with marriage promises and confining her in his studio. She alleged that he compelled her to create objectionable content during her confinement.
Following the complaint, the court assigned the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to conduct a thorough investigation. PBI Sub-Inspector Nuruzzaman submitted the investigative report on February 2, 2026, leading the court to issue arrest warrants for Noble and three others.
Murad, the Operations Officer of Demra Police, stated, “Upon the court’s issuance of warrants for Noble and the three others, our team acted on the warrants and arrested the main suspect. He is currently undergoing legal processing for court appearance.”
Details regarding the other individuals involved in the case have not been disclosed by the authorities. As of now, charges against the accused have not been officially confirmed by the police, and there has been no recorded conviction.
