Due to the continued closure of airfields in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Doha, seven morning flights at Chattogram’s Hazrat Shah Amanat International Airport were canceled today. This brings the total number of international flights affected at Chattogram airport to 35 since February 28 due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, as confirmed by airport officials.
Among the cancellations, one arrival flight by Biman Bangladesh Airlines from the Middle East was affected. Additionally, a departure and an arrival flight by US-Bangla Airlines on the Middle East route were canceled. Furthermore, two departures and two arrivals by Air Arabia on the Middle East route were also impacted.
Amidst these disruptions, SalamAir flight OV-401 from Muscat successfully landed at the airport at 8:05 am and departed as OV-402 for Muscat at 9:15 am with passengers onboard. Similarly, the Biman flight BG-138 from Madina landed at 8:45 am and departed for Dhaka at 9:30 am.
