Md Sarwar Named Acting Commissioner of Dhaka Police

Md Sarwar, the Additional Commissioner (Admin) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), has been appointed as the acting commissioner until a permanent replacement is named. This decision was officially confirmed in a recent order. Effective immediately, Sarwar will assume the duties of the DMP commissioner alongside his existing responsibilities until a new commissioner is appointed.
