A brand-new horror movie named “Djinner Bachcha” is scheduled to debut on Chorki on February 19. Marketed as a Chorki exclusive, the film offers a gripping narrative centered on a disturbing question: What causes a jinn’s offspring to manifest within a human household?
This endeavor is helmed by well-known actor Mostafizur Noor Imran, making his directorial debut. Produced under Methodica Creation’s banner in collaboration with Master Communications, the film’s recently unveiled trailer hints at a psychological horror experience delving into fear from an unconventional perspective, with the creators promising “a terror you’ve never imagined.”
The movie boasts a talented ensemble cast featuring Mousumi Hamid, Azad Abul Kalam, Sarker Raunak Ripon, Anowarul Haque, Adrijeet Mondol, Ribon Khandaker, Rajeeb Hossain, and Shakkhar Kundu Dip.
The plot is penned by Shakkhar Kundu Dip, with the screenplay crafted by Rajeeb Hossain. Mohibullah Shanto is behind the cinematography, while Md Linkon is responsible for editing and color grading. Nazmul Chowdhury handles the sound design, and the musical score is composed by E K Majumder Eshty.
Scheduled for an exclusive streaming release on Chorki starting Thursday, “Djinner Bachcha” contributes another local horror entry to the platform’s expanding array of original Bangladeshi content.
