Anil Kapoor Credits Energy to Insecurities

-

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor has disclosed that his enduring energy may be linked to feelings of insecurity. Despite being 69 years old, Kapoor continues to be a prominent figure in Indian cinema, successfully transitioning from leading roles to more complex character portrayals. Known for his vibrant on-screen and off-screen persona, the actor recently discussed the driving force behind his relentless work ethic.

During a recent conversation, Kapoor revealed that his impetus arises from a strong desire to remain relevant and engaged in meaningful projects. “I believe it’s my insecurities. I have this urge to work. If my energy is evident in my work or demeanor, it’s because I strive to be present and significant,” he expressed.

The actor emphasized that his enthusiasm is not a facade but a genuine reflection of his love for acting. “My primary motivation is to deliver exceptional work. I aim to satisfy the director. I must give my best, to the best of my ability. Perhaps I doubt my skills and feel there are more talented individuals out there. I have much to learn, hence the need for fitness and vitality to continually improve,” he explained, receiving applause from the audience.

Kapoor’s most recent appearance was in “War 2” as Colonel Vikrant Kaul. His upcoming project is the action drama “Subedaar,” co-starring Radhikka Madan, Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Rawal, Faisal Malik, and Mona Singh in pivotal roles.

“Subedaar,” produced by Opening Image Films in collaboration with Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network (AKFCN), is supported by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor, and Suresh Triveni. Directed by Suresh Triveni, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Prajwal Chandrashekar, the film is scheduled to debut on Amazon Prime Video on March 5 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
