Nasimul Ghani, who previously held the position of senior secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been appointed as the cabinet secretary on a contractual basis. The Ministry of Public Administration announced this appointment through an official notification today. Nasimul now serves as the 27th cabinet secretary in the country.

As per the gazette released by the Ministry’s Contracts and Foreign Appointments Wing, Nasimul’s transfer and posting as the cabinet secretary at the Cabinet Division have been approved. The order, issued in the public interest, is effective immediately, as stated in the notification.
