Bombshell by name, bombshell by nature – Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has made her mark in the few hours she’s been in the Love Island villa.
In tonight’s episode she sent shockwaves amongst the guys and the girls with her flirting and sex talk – and who she chose to couple up with. Picking her three Islanders to date – Ronnie Vint, Scott Thomas and Curtis Pritchard were the three lucky guys on Ekin’s radar. Shouting “Ekin boys let’s go”, she wasted no time in whisking them away to the secret garden. They got to know each other better, as a toast is raised to “Ekin night”.
Getting Ronnie’s pulse racing, and the nation’s, she cheekily asked him if he’d “ever had a Turkish delight?”. Smooth Ronnie replied: “You’d be my favourite dessert”, asking Ekin-Su, if she “tasted nice”. She teased: “Yeah, I’ve been told… I’m a very sexual person. I am very touchy touchy. When I’m with someone I’m not frigid.” It’s certainly hotting up in there.
Missing out on the action, the other girls were rattled. Their curiosity getting the better of them, they snuck over to the mini fire pit to see if they can eavesdrop. Impressed by their rival, Kaz Crossley had earlier said: “She’s so confident, I love that”, while India Reynolds added: “She’s sexy, she’ll go for it.”
Ekin eventually picked Curtis – which shocks the camp as they all thought she’d choose Scott. Maybe it was the fact he took a coffee out to Kaz that impressed her. India called it “cute”.
But it’s not all a bed of roses, as new bombshell Casey Gorman turns up to dampen the mood. He greets them all from the terrace, yelling: “I’m back!” Olivia Hawkins laughs: “Not again!” He immediately clashes with Kaz – who says he messes Love Island girls around and that she’s friends with alumni Georgia Harrison. A fiery conversation begins and rumbles into tonight’s episode.
Gabby Allen and ex Marcel Somerville sit down for a long overdue chat about how they’re feeling and the fact they’ve got to share a bed together that evening. Joking about the public coupling them up, Gabby said: “They’re so used to seeing us together! Never thought I’d share a bed with you again!” Marcel gets choked up thinking about the Villa giving him the opportunity to speak to her: “I feel better… saying the things I should have said then. I’m getting emotional…” They agree on keeping things amicable but worry that getting on so well might give other islanders the wrong impression. But when Marcel offers to chat to Gabby in his ‘Dr Marcel’ role, she laughs: “You got sacked, hun! You are not Dr Marcel.”
