Habibur Rashid from the BNP party emerged victorious in the 13th parliamentary election for the Dhaka-9 constituency, securing 111,212 votes under the party’s symbol of the “sheaf of paddy.” His closest competitors were Mohammad Jabed Mia from the NCP, who garnered 53,460 votes with the “Shapla Koli (waterlily bud)” symbol, and Independent candidate Tasnim Jara, who received 44,684 votes with the football symbol.
