BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has emerged victorious in the unofficial election results for Dhaka-8 and Bogura-6 constituencies, securing a significant lead over his opponents. In Dhaka-8, Tarique Rahman, running with the sheaf of paddy symbol, garnered 72,699 votes, while his main rival, Dr Khaleduzzaman of Jamaat-e-Islami, with the scales symbol, received 68,300 votes. The margin of victory for the BNP candidate in this constituency was 4,399 votes. Moving on to Bogura-6, Tarique secured 216,284 votes, surpassing his closest competitor, Abidur Rahman Sohel of Jamaat, who obtained 97,626 votes. The margin of victory in Bogura-6 was a notable 118,658 votes in favor of the BNP candidate.
