“BNP Leads in 3 Dhaka Constituencies in Preliminary Polling Results”

The initial results from multiple polling centers across four Dhaka constituencies have been released by the returning officer’s office. BNP candidates are currently leading in three of the constituencies, while an NCP candidate is ahead in one.

The constituencies in question are Dhaka-7, Dhaka-9, Dhaka-11, and Dhaka-18. In Dhaka-7, data from 6 out of 165 centers show that BNP’s Hamidur Rahman secured 3,841 votes, surpassing Jamaat-e-Islami’s Md Enayet Ullah who received 3,414 votes.

Moving to Dhaka-9, information from 11 out of 170 centers indicates that BNP’s Habibur Rashid garnered 5,959 votes, outpacing NCP’s Mohammad Jabed Mia who received 2,517 votes. Independent candidate Tasnim Jara, symbolized by football, obtained 2,366 votes.

For Dhaka-11, results from 16 out of 163 centers reveal that NCP’s Nahid Islam secured 8,969 votes, leading over MA Qayyum who received 7,391 votes.

In Dhaka-18, preliminary data from 9 out of 219 centers show that BNP’s SM Jahangir Hossain received 4,309 votes, leading NCP’s Ariful Islam who garnered 3,369 votes.
