Former Attorney General Wins Jhenaidah-1 Seat

Md Asaduzzaman, the BNP candidate and former attorney general, has emerged as the unofficial victor from the Jhenaidah-1 (Shailkupa) constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election. As per unofficial tallies from all polling stations, Asaduzzaman garnered 171,598 votes, surpassing his closest competitor, Jamaat candidate Matiur Rahman, who received 55,577 votes. The outcome was disclosed by Assistant Returning Officer and Shailkupa Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mahfuzur Rahman late last night.
