EC Urges Nationwide Prayers for Peace & Progress

The Election Commission (EC) has urged mosques nationwide to conduct special prayers following Juma prayers tomorrow to seek peace, prosperity, and sustained progress. Additionally, all other places of worship have been encouraged to organize prayers at suitable timings. The EC’s Director of Public Relations, Ruhul Amin Mollik, issued a press release this evening making this appeal. The commission expressed gratitude to political parties, candidates, law enforcement agencies, election officials, observers, journalists, and voters for their collaborative efforts in upholding an unbiased, free, and fair electoral atmosphere.
