“US and Russia to Resume Military Talks After 4 Years”

The United States military announced that Washington and Moscow have agreed to resume high-level military discussions, after meetings in Abu Dhabi, more than four years since their suspension. The United States European Command stated that this communication channel was halted in late 2021, just before the conflict began, alluding to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The reestablishment of the dialogue comes after discussions in the capital of the United Arab Emirates involving Gen Alexus G Grynkewich, Commander of US European Command, and key Russian and Ukrainian military figures.
