“Bangladesh vs. India Asian Cup Qualifiers Tickets Sell Out in Minutes”

-

Tickets for the highly anticipated Asian Cup Qualifiers match between Bangladesh and India went on sale today at 2:00 pm, and within a mere six minutes, all general gallery tickets were completely sold out. The match is set to take place on 18 November at the National Stadium in Dhaka, sparking immense excitement among football enthusiasts nationwide.

Golam Gauss, the chairman of the BFF Competition Committee and a former national football player, confirmed the rapid ticket sales to the media. He stated that all general gallery tickets were snatched up within six minutes, with more than half of the payments already processed. Notably, there are no more general gallery tickets available, with only tickets for the Red Box and hospitality sections remaining.

While general gallery tickets for previous matches against Singapore and Hong Kong were priced at Tk 400, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) raised the price to Tk 500 due to the overwhelming demand for the India match. Despite the increase, fans wasted no time in securing their tickets as soon as sales opened.

Although tickets for the India match sold out swiftly, tickets for the friendly match against Nepal on November 13, which were released a week earlier, are still available. Gauss expressed optimism that sales for the Nepal match will surge following the rapid sell-out of tickets for the India fixture. He mentioned, “All tickets for the India match are now sold out, and even Hamza, the national striker, is expected to arrive today. Fans are likely to start purchasing tickets for the Nepal match soon.”
