“Chobir Golpo Launches Photography Contest on Tarique Rahman’s Return”

-

Chobir Golpo, a platform focused on photography, has introduced a nationwide photography contest named “The narrative of coming home after 17 years,” centered on the return of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman to the nation. Established in 2005 as a platform for photo stories, Chobir Golpo expressed that the competition’s objective is to visually capture the emotions, anticipations, preparations, and gatherings of supporters surrounding Rahman’s comeback through the lens of photography. Participants are urged to depict the artistic, humanistic, and celebratory elements of this significant moment.

Photographs taken on December 24, 25, and 26, 2025 are eligible for entry. The contest will be conducted across three categories: single image mobile photography, single image DSLR photography, and DSLR photo story. The initial screening of entries will be overseen by Chobir Golpo’s principal photographer, Khaled Hossain Parag, and his team, with the final judging panel composed of esteemed photographers from the country.

As per a press statement, chosen photographers and winners will be presented with certificates, keepsake gifts, and opportunities for interviews. Furthermore, the top selected images will be showcased in a special 2026 calendar. The deadline for submitting photos is December 31, 2025.
