“Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC Grooms Future Banking Leaders”

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC recently held an orientation session for 1,000 newly recruited trainee assistant officers at the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh in Dhaka. The event was inaugurated by Prof M Zubaidur Rahman, the chairman of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, who emphasized the bank’s ability to overcome challenges and transform them into opportunities for growth.

Rahman urged the young officers to actively contribute to the bank’s advancement and the overall development of the banking industry. He expressed confidence in the youth’s potential to shape a “Developed Bangladesh” and enhance the Islamic banking sector, stating that today’s recruits would become tomorrow’s banking leaders. He stressed the importance of working diligently to achieve this vision and encouraged the officers to prioritize customer trust, excellence in service, and professional integrity.

The program was presided over by Md Omar Faruk Khan, the bank’s managing director, with Md Altaf Hossain and Mohammad Jamal Uddin Majumder, additional managing directors, participating as special guests. The event also saw the presence of several deputy managing directors, including M Kamal Uddin Jasim, Md Mahboob Alam, Mahmudur Rahman, Md Rafiqul Islam, Muhammad Sayeed Ullah, KM Munirul Alam Al-Mamoon, and Md Maksudur Rahman.
