“Golap” Movie Starring Nirab Hossain and Pori Moni Resumes Filming

-

After almost a year of quiet anticipation, the highly-anticipated movie “Golap”, featuring Nirab Hossain and Pori Moni, is officially back on schedule. Director Shamsul Huda has confirmed that filming is set to kick off in February after significant revisions to the script.

Initially announced in January with filming expected to start the next month, the project faced delays due to unresolved script issues. Huda explained that script complications led to the postponement of production earlier in the year.

“We encountered script challenges that prevented us from starting production this year,” he stated. “After thorough discussions with the entire team, we have revamped and restructured the storyline. Our aim is to commence filming in February.”

The director mentioned that he has already discussed the new schedule and script updates with the lead actors. “We have maintained regular communication. They are aware of the script changes and the updated plan. Once the production house gives the go-ahead, we will announce the filming date.”

Nirab echoed the director’s sentiments, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the storyline before progressing further. “We are committed to delivering a high-quality film,” he expressed. “Hence, we were meticulous about the script. Numerous enhancements were necessary, and new scenes have been incorporated. Additionally, my extended absence from the country this year also contributed to the delay. Now, the script is finalized, and the screenplay is nearing completion. We aim to start filming early next year, offering audiences a captivating movie experience.”

Under the Golpowala Productions banner, “Golap” is crafted as a political thriller infused with action elements. Set in a small town, the film unfolds against a backdrop of heightened political tensions. The story, dialogue, and screenplay are penned by Anik Biswas.
