The Ministry of Cultural Affairs is preparing to host a special screening of a documentary film on Wednesday, November 12, shedding light on critical issues such as fascism, enforced disappearances, killings, and looting. The event is scheduled to take place simultaneously at ten different venues in Dhaka from 6 pm to 10 pm.

Organized by the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, the program seeks to raise awareness and spark public discussions by leveraging the impactful nature of visual storytelling. In addition to the film screenings, attendees will be treated to live performances by the renowned band Joler Gaan, enriching the cultural experience of the evening.

Various locations have been selected for the screenings, including TSC at Dhaka University, Jatrabari Park, Rabindra Sorobor in Dhanmondi, Bahadur Shah Park, Mirpur Pallabi Muktomoncho, Uttara Sector 3 (Jamjam Tower), Mohammadpur Town Hall, and Hatirjheel Amphitheatre in Rampura Pranto.

Through this integration of film, music, and communal spaces, the Ministry aims to cultivate an environment of contemplation and solidarity, emphasizing the enduring values of freedom, justice, and cultural resilience.
