“53 Individuals Delisted as ‘July Fighters’ in Rangpur”

-

The government recently delisted 53 individuals from the roster of “July fighters” due to reported complaints and enrollment irregularities. A notification from the Liberation War Affairs Ministry disclosed that all 53 individuals were from the Rangpur division. This action mirrors a previous decision on August 3, when eight individuals from various regions were also removed as “July fighters” following discrepancies in the verification process. Current official figures indicate that the total count of July fighters now amounts to 13,800 individuals.
