SonyLIV has unveiled a sneak peek of its upcoming lineup for the year, showcasing the initial glimpse of Arifin Shuvoo starring in Soumik Sen’s highly-anticipated series “Jazz City.” The teaser showcased the Bangladeshi actor in various captivating roles. One moment captures Shuvoo dressed in a stylish grey suit, while another scene portrays him dancing in a sharp white suit. Additionally, he is featured in a traditional white punjabi attire. Each distinct look, accentuated with retro-inspired hairstyles, effectively captures the essence of the 1970s era.
“Jazz City” is intricately woven against the backdrop of the Liberation War and boasts a talented ensemble cast from both Tollywood and Bollywood. Opposite Shuvoo, actress Sauraseni Maitra is set to deliver a compelling performance. The series was meticulously filmed on a specially crafted set to authentically recreate the ambiance of that historical period.
