Anonno Proteek Chowdhuri reflects on dedicating his life to football and studying to become a chartered accountant. Despite working in the field, he felt a sense of confinement. Inspired by his filmmaker parents, Chayanika Chowdhury and Arun Chowdhury, he decided to pursue his dream of making a film once he achieved stability.
Anonno’s debut web film, “Noya Note,” released on September 12, is a product of his determination. The film, written and directed by Anonno, delves into the story of a homeless man seeking money, portrayed authentically by lead actor Nasir Uddin Khan on real streets without prior announcement.
Reflecting on the unconventional approach, Anonno shares how strangers mistook Nasir for a genuine beggar, validating the realism of the scene. Working with limited resources, Anonno’s vision was to capture raw authenticity without an extensive cast of extras.
Having started as an assistant director on “Mayaboti” in 2019, Anonno gained insights into the multifaceted role of a director. He emphasizes the importance of handling various responsibilities to support the core team effectively.
