Warner Bros. Discovery has revealed that HBO Max will be introduced in 14 new Asia Pacific regions, including Bangladesh, on October 15, further expanding its streaming reach globally.
This move signifies a significant step for HBO Max, which already offers a wide array of popular franchises such as “Harry Potter,” “House of the Dragon,” “The Last of Us,” and major Warner Bros. hits like “Superman,” “A Minecraft Movie,” and “Final Destination: Bloodlines.”
JB Perrette, CEO and President of Global Streaming & Games at Warner Bros. Discovery, expressed excitement about the continuous expansion of HBO Max, following successful launches in Australia and Europe earlier this year. He mentioned that HBO Max will soon be available in over 100 markets by the end of this year, with plans for major launches in Germany, Italy, and the U.K. in 2026.
In Bangladesh, subscribers will have access to a diverse range of content from HBO Originals, Max Originals, Warner Bros. hits, and curated shows from Discovery, TLC, AFN, Food Network, ID, and HGTV. An anticipated premiere in Bangladesh is “IT: Welcome to Derry,” set to debut on October 27, expanding on Stephen King’s “IT” universe with a star-studded cast.
HBO Max in Bangladesh will offer a rich selection of series and movies, including popular titles like “The Last of Us,” “House of the Dragon,” “The Penguin,” “Adventure Time,” “We Bare Bears,” “Tom and Jerry,” and “Looney Tunes,” alongside new originals like “The Paper” and “MobLand,” as well as engaging documentaries such as “Gold Rush,” “Deadliest Catch,” and “90 Day Fiancé.”
Subscribers can enjoy a personalized streaming experience with features like seamless search, genre-based navigation, customizable profiles for up to five household members, a Continue Watching feature, and the option to download content for offline viewing. Additionally, dedicated kids’ profiles with parental controls will offer safe viewing options for families.
