Coke Studio Bangla has resumed its musical journey after a year-long break with the debut of Hashim Mahmud’s track “Baji,” kicking off its third season. This was followed by Ankan Kumar and Sheikh Mumtahina Mehzabin’s performance of “Long Distance Love.” The upcoming song “Jadu” features renowned musician Habib Wahid collaborating with Tajik singer Mehrnigor Rustam and is scheduled to premiere today on Coke Studio Bangla’s YouTube channel.
A source from Coke Studio Bangla has verified to Ajker Patrika that “Jadu” is both composed and arranged by Habib, with lyrics and melody penned by Baul Shah Khwaja Mia. The song also includes a French segment sung by Mehrnigor.
“Jadu” is the sixth release of the third season, following the previous successful seasons. The new season began with “Tanti” on Pahela Baishakh 2024, then “Ma Lo Ma” on May 3, and Warfaze’s “Obak Bhalobasha” on May 25 before a temporary production pause occurred.
