Bayern Munich has matched the European record for consecutive wins at the start of a season by defeating 10-man Borussia Moenchengladbach 3-0. Goals from Joshua Kimmich, Raphael Guerreiro, and teenager Lennart Karl secured their 13th consecutive victory in all competitions, a feat previously achieved by AC Milan in the 1992-93 season. This win keeps Bayern five points ahead of RB Leipzig in the league standings.
Bayern coach Vincent Kompany praised his team’s performance, especially after Borussia Moenchengladbach’s Jens Castrop was sent off for a dangerous challenge. Despite the one-man advantage, Bayern struggled against the bottom-ranked opponents, but managed to convert their chances.

In another match, RB Leipzig dominated Augsburg with a 6-0 win, with goals from Yan Diomande, Romulo, Antonio Nusa, Christoph Baumgartner, Assan Ouedraogo, and Castello Lukeba. Leipzig’s strong performance solidified their second position in the league, four points ahead of Stuttgart.

Wolfsburg secured their first win since August with a 1-0 triumph over Hamburg, courtesy of Adam Daghim’s goal. Hamburg’s Ransford-Yeboah Koenigsdoerffer missed a penalty kick for the third consecutive game.
