Yesterday was a remarkable day as the winners of Blender’s Choice–The Daily Star OTT and Digital Content Awards 2024 gathered for a delightful afternoon at The Daily Star office. The winners congregated not only to share a meal but also to reminisce about their unforgettable award moments showcased in the recently released OTT supplement.
The atmosphere in the room was lively with the presence of well-known personalities. Renowned actors including Runa Khan, Zinnat Ara, and director Kajal Arefin Ome, accompanied by his ‘Bachelor Point’ team comprising Marzuk Russell, Saidur Rahman Pavel, Touhid Talukder, Chashi Alam, Sanzida Mahmood Nandita, Angel Noor, Sadat Hossain, and Priyontee Urbee, graced the event. Additionally, skilled technicians Zannat Mouri, Shihab Nurun Nabi, Saleh Sobhan Auneem, and designer Safia Sathi were also in attendance. Influencer Nafees Salim added to the festive ambiance.
The afternoon commenced with a warm welcome from Aasha Mehreen Amin, Joint Editor of The Daily Star, who expressed appreciation to all the winners for participating in the luncheon. The event concluded on a high note with Angel Noor captivating everyone with a soulful performance of “Jodi Abar”.
Amidst laughter and engaging conversations, Runa Khan expressed her delight at reconnecting with fellow winners post-awards: “The food was excellent, and the company was even better. It was a joy to reunite with everyone after the event. I couldn’t have asked for a better evening.”
Designer Safia Sathi also shared her enthusiasm at witnessing her creations featured in the OTT supplement: “It’s a fantastic feeling to see my designs showcased so beautifully. Collaborating with this award show was a pleasure, and my heart swelled with pride seeing all the hosts donning my designs this year.”
In the midst of heartfelt discussions, laughter, and melodious tunes, the attendees came together to savor a delightful time, while the rainy weather in Dhaka lingered outside.
