“Duronto TV Presents Special Durga Puja Programs”

On this auspicious day of Bijoya Dashami, which symbolizes the victory of good over evil and signifies personal growth, believers are encouraged to overcome their shortcomings, nurture positive qualities, and uphold righteousness. In celebration of this significant festival, numerous television channels have curated special Durga Puja programs for audiences of all ages. Duronto TV, the nation’s sole children’s entertainment channel, has once again prepared a lineup of unique shows for the occasion.

Duronto TV is set to broadcast the exclusive Durga Puja drama “Hoi Hoi Holla” at 11:30 am and 8 pm. Additionally, the channel will showcase “Banai Mojar Khabar Maa-Baba Aar Ami,” a festive cooking show where children, accompanied by their parents, will share Puja anecdotes and prepare traditional delicacies like labra, payesh, machher paturi, khichuri, and more. This show will be aired on October 2 at 1:00 pm and 9:00 pm.

As part of its Sharadiya Durga Puja programming, Duronto TV will present a special episode of the renowned show “Ronger Khelay Shurer Bhelay” titled “Ronger Khelay Shurer Bhelay Pujar Melay,” featuring Puja songs accompanied by the beats of the dhak drum and the aroma of incense. This episode will air at 6:30 pm on October 2.

On Bijoya Dashami, viewers can enjoy the light-hearted program “Shubho Bijoya” at 10:00 am, featuring elocutionist Bhashwar Bandyopadhyay and child artists Barnamala, Kotha, and Samriddho.

Boishakhi Television has also curated special programs for the occasion. Produced by Mamun Abdullah, “Desher Gaan: Jommo Bhumi” will be broadcast at 7:45 am, showcasing popular Puja-themed music videos. At 8:20 am, singer Badsha Bulbul will entertain viewers in “Baishakhi’r Sokaler Gaan,” produced by Litu Solaiman. Following this, at 9:10 am, “Music Album” will feature beloved Puja songs from Bangladeshi films.

A special drama titled “Mejaj,” written and directed by Sajal Ahmed and starring Mushfiq R Farhan, Saima, Rosey Siddique, Lutfor Rahman George, Sabnam Faria, Kochi Khondokar, and Al Mamun, will be aired at 10 pm.

Maasranga Television will broadcast the Durga Puja special drama “Radhika” at 10:30 pm, directed by Forhad Alam and featuring Fazlur Rahman Babu, Mihi Ahsan, Rana Chowdhury, Jayraj, and others.

Bangladesh Television will wrap up the day with the program “Janani Dashabhuja” at 11 pm, a production by Abdullah Al Mamun, blending songs, dance, and a dramatization of Goddess Durga’s triumph over Mahishasura.
