Three individuals lost their lives in a tragic accident in Rajshahi’s Charghat upazila this evening when a truck collided with their motorcycle. The victims were identified as Maruf Ahmed, aged 17, Shimul, aged 30, and Tuhin Ali, aged 23, all hailing from Chamtar village under Sholua union. According to Mizanur Rahman, the officer-in-charge of Charghat Model Police Station, the trio was on their way home from Charghat Bazar when the incident occurred at the Shishutola intersection on the Charghat-Baneshwar highway. Maruf and Shimul were pronounced dead at the scene, while Tuhin passed away while being transported to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. The bodies have been returned to their respective families.
